The new web site is completely redesigned giving AFL a fresh new internet presence.
Visitors to the site can learn about our company, our goals, and our services.
The web site introduces new interactive features for our internal and external customers.
Prospective New Drivers can visit the site and learn about our minimum hiring criteria
and our pay structure and then complete an on-line driver application. Alternatively, a
driver application package can be downloaded in the form of an Adobe Acrobat PDF file
for job applicants who prefer the traditional method. Existing customers can request an
account to login to the site and lookup current load tracking information as well as obtain
their own Proof of Deliveries and/or Lumper Slips via the document imaging interface.
Existing customers who are not EDI capable can tender their loads to us through the
simple to use Loads Entry web interface. Prospective customers can send their requests
for rates directly to AFL via an easy to use Rapid Quote Form. Other secure services
include remote access for our roaming employees and Remote Control of AFL's Security Cameras
for off-site monitoring of the Terminal.
All of the web forms are connected with the AFL backend servers so when a new driver
enters a job application or a customer enters a load or even if a Rapid Quote rate request
is submitted, all of that data can be easily converted to "live" data on our system by AFL
personnel. The end product is a very robust and efficient web site which is geared
towards improved customer satisfaction and heightened productivity.
